The COVID-19 pandemic exposed our vulnerabilities in mitigating public health crises and magnified the effect of climate disasters on public health. Taking Stock for Our Sustainable Future Classroom 2&3
In projects large and small, taking stock is essential to ensure we are heading in the right direction. Drawing on lessons from the UN climate change negotiations on review, participants will share their experiences working on projects and explore the essentials of stocktaking in making progress towards our shared future.

This session will discuss how communities can build climate resilience while taking into consideration climate migration, especially in Indigenous and marginalized communities. Participants will explore why it is occurring, what changes it may lead to, and how they can adapt together.

Tackling Waste with Public and Private Collaboration Union Hall
Waste management in Thailand and across the world continues to be a growing crisis. Collaboration is needed, but how can stakeholders be successfully recruited to help handle this issue? Participants will explore this question as they discuss extended producer responsibility, policy, and more.

Agricultural Advocacy and Strategy through a Journalistic Lens Classrooms 2&3
The climate crisis has devastated crops and agricultural yields in the Himalayas, and while some communities have suffered, others have devised local farming solutions that have better prepared them for the effects of environmental change. Participants will learn how to successfully intertwine case studies from the field and scientific data to tell impactful stories and promote climate-smart agricultural solutions. They will discuss the different mediums of storytelling and determine the most effective outreach method for the target audience.
