Adam Abdulla

Fulbright Foreign Student Program, United States, 2018-2019

Much of Adam Abdulla’s work has been centered around development with focus on resilience building to combat change and improve public health. Adam currently works as the Secretary General of Kulhudhuffshi City Council, Maldives. He formerly worked as the National Coordinator for the United Nations Development Programme in Maldives in the Resilience and Climate Change Department. He has also held positions at Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Health, Maldives

Adam is an alumna of the Fulbright Foreign Student program and during his program he completed his master’s degree in public administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He also completed a post graduate diploma in Environmental Decision Making from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

Adam obtained his undergraduate degree from the Australian National University with majors in environmental science, sociology, and international relations.
